Yakuza Cup despite everything

On August 26 and 27, the Yakuza Cup, the first two-day mahjong tournament since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, will be held in Kyiv.
It will not be a ranking tournament, but a full-fledged championship with a distance of 8 hanchans, a cup, prizes and souvenirs, as in previous years.
Also, there will be acadores, open tanyao, all yakumanas including doubles at full price and abortive transfers.
No EMA, just real riichi, clear as a crystal tear.

The participation fee is 1000 UAH which can be paid on the spot or immediately.

Players are encouraged to have a Mahjong tracker app to keep track of points and be there on time on the first day to register. Registration will begin at ten o’clock on Saturday, August 26.

World Riichi Championship, final

For the first time in the history of Ukrainian mahjong, players under our flag are advancing to the finals of the World Riichi Championship!

In the WRC final, the top 32 players will compete for the title of world champion!

Citizens of Ukraine are now suffering from russian invasion. Ukrainian Mahjong Federation is making this tournament to support ukrainian army and hope that other players can help us protect and support peace and democracy in Ukraine.

Entry fee 500 UAH. Drinks and snacks are included.
We play 4+4 hanchans according to EMA Riichi Rules.
Registration deadline: 22 September.
Participants limit: 40 players.

Yakuza Cup 2021

Yakuza is back!

On June 5-6, Kharkiv will host the traditional Ukrainian Richi Mahjong Championship “Yakuza Cup”.

Format: 8 Hanchans, 4 + 4, EMA rules.

As always, the winner will receive a cup, the first four places – medals and diplomas, there will be nominations and small gifts to all participants.

The fee for participation in the tournament is 500 UAH or 15 EUR. Paid before the start of the tournament on the spot.
The maximum number of participants is 32.
Registration starts today and will last until June 3, or until the places are filled.

1st UA Online Tournament

A tournament among Ukrainian players (MahjongSoul-nyaa) is planned for June 1-2-3

Terms of participation:

one-time contribution of UAH 200
participation in all games during all three days (start at 19:30, 3 hanchans per day)

The winner of the tournament with the most points at the end of the entire tournament will receive a set for playing Riichi Mahjong 🙂
Cash prizes await 2-3-4 place (the amount depends on the number of participants)
